I came across the same lovely new word three times in as many days. What are the odds? Will Self used it in an article about social mobility and then I spotted it in Edmund de Waal's The Hare with Amber Eyes and then I saw it again on YouTube (but this version by Grangemouth's finest is much better).
Word of the week is empyrean.
I don't know how I managed to get to this age and level of education without encountering this word, but now I plan to make up for lost time by weaving it into conversations and possibly even blog posts.
